Criminal Defense Attorney
Serving the Dallas metroplex
and surrounding areas

Nothing is more important to me than protecting people’s rights, even when they’ve made a mistake or fallen into an unfortunate situation. That’s why I practice criminal defense.

I'm not easily intimidated.
You shouldn't be either.

My name is Sherrod Edwards. I was born in Detroit and grew up to be a big man and a fierce competitor. Confrontation doesn’t scare me, and people can generally sense that about me. I won’t ask you to be fearless about your case, but I will lead by example in not folding to intimidation tactics.

My Approach

Our relationship starts with a breakdown of the legal facts.
From there, I work to build a case that makes sense for your situation.

Practice Areas

Legal problems are a heavy burden
let me carry the weight for you

My mission is to help people through tough situations—big or small.

Whether you’re facing a misdemeanor, felony, or injury, legal proceedings are no picnic. Fortunately, I have plenty of experience combating them.

Criminal Cases

In the last decade, I’ve handled more criminal charges than I can list — fraud, theft, burglary, robbery, DWIs, family violence, sexual assault, murder, white collar crime — the list goes on. I’ve also helped clients get records expunged, non-disclosure agreements established, and probations terminated early. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no criminal case too big or too small for my firm.

Personal Injury Cases

I am, at my core, a criminal defense attorney. That’s no secret. But I’ve found that I can put my litigation skills to use in other ways to help people in need. That’s why I also take on the occasional personal injury case.

In many ways, defending a victim of personal injury is parallel to defending a client in trouble with the law. Both practice areas are all about protecting people’s rights and preventing further harm — and that’s what I’m all about.

So if you’ve been hurt because of someone else’s negligence or actions — for instance, if you were hit by a distracted driver — don’t hesitate to give me a call. I’d like to discuss your case and determine whether I can help.
